I didn't read the release yet...

But didn't yahoo sign another deal with Google like a few months ago?

yes, a 3 year deal I think. But they left the door open for Y to incorporate other results :)

Relationships with mutiple data providers is common. For example, MSN currently can show results from MS sites/partners, Overture, LookSmart & Inktomi all on the same search.

I'm guessing that Y's search results pages will be changing significanty (again) over the next few weeks/months.
