Anybody know of any decent non-popup pay-per-imperssion advertising sites? I have a site that has traffic through the roof and I need some way to compensate.

If your talking banners, skyscrapers, etc. http://www.fastclick.com still does CPM.

I think www.overture.com does this as well.

The main problem, is that the site is a forum. Alot of the bigger companies (like FastClick) won't except such sites as clients (even though it gets 3 to 4 Gigs of traffic a day and 10M page views a month).

ahh, you didn't mention it was a forum. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone interested in forum traffic for impression advertising.

you might want to consider affiliate ads focused on your forums' topic...

As loyal as the forumites are, they're also very stubborn. I don't think there'd be many clickthroughs. That's why I was looking at impressions.....

cwd has probably the best idea. Targeted affiliate links.

You will be hard pressed to get anyone to pay significant money for impressions that don't give them traffic and revenue. Think about it, would you pay for an ad that doesn't deliver bottom line results? The days of getting money for non-producing banners are going, going, gone.

If there is any value in your site's traffic, tap into it by finding some affiliate programs that are of value to your surfers. There are some good opportunites out there.

Another option is to find someone to pay directly for advertising. Can be a lot of work, might be worthwhile.

Good luck,
