php secure.. who can check this?

So I was told that the php I had been using to run my domain was a bit insecure, you could read files above the root directory if you knew what to look for. The guy who told me sent a few links, I checked them, and fixed the coding as he pointed out.

The thing that i need help with, though, is to see if what he told me is secure, as I'm not totally trusting of him (long story, blah blah)

So, if any of you know PHP and have a bit of time, can you take a little stroll through epicac.nu (http://epicac.nu) and tell me if there's any issues with the coding that you can find?

I can put the exact index.php file into a text file, if you'd like to see the actual coding all together.

Any help is greatly appreciated, so thank you in advance :)
