Connect via MyODBC?

I'd like to use Access97 to administrate my MySQL database, which is supposed to be possible with MyODBC and MyAccess. But I can't establish a connection through MyODBC--it seems to deny permission to access the database. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

This is something we are currently researching. The issue revolves around the hostname (localhost/client domain) and MyODBC seems to have a bit of trouble with this, even when using the correct username and password when setting up the DSN.
