My logs show many requests by NT machines for this file:
"MSOffice/cltreq.asp"
The are always paired with requests to "_vti_bin" which reminds me of MS-FrontPage, but the cltreq.asp throws me off.
Do you know what application causes this request when viewing a site?

My first thought is that it's some kind of virus for NT looking for a backdoor on the server.
Then again, I have no proof, and I don't really keep up with this sort of thing.
Anyone else?

After doing a search on Google it appears to be nothing more than requests for MS Office server extensions.
If you are using FrontPage and have included some documents from Word or Excel then it's most likely the cause.

No, don't have any Office documents, and FP is disabled.
I think I'll create zero-length files for these two, to maintain sanity :)
