Okay - I'm not sure why I am posting this - but here goes.

Moving from Akopia (which we never finalized the install) we tried our hand at theexchangeproject.

After some moaning and groaning, we have it 'working', unfortunately I was under the impression that it had an authorize.net module - which it does not for the 2.1 release (this is the most up to day release - daily snapshots are not recommended for live sites, probably because releases/upgrade info would not be valid).

Second biggie is the inventory. We went and over ordered an in-stock item, "delivered" it and then ordered another - no mention of 'out of stock' etc.

Third item - there is one price structure (except for sales) for products. My customer needs multiple pricing structures according to their "customer's account".

Fourth item - orders by mail/check, I think we can easily edit the COD module for that, but it is just one more fly in the ointment.

Fifth item - credit card numbers... I'm think it is because we have not set up the security to the admin access, but the credit card numbers are masked in the midportion. Even when I query the database directly. The masked numbers get mailed in a separate email - but our customer is gonna scream on that. They are still looking for the 'any' key.

I have been on the phpShop site - it doesn't look promising. I am going to try and install that next, but have little hope.

I guess I'm looking for other suggestions before we throw in the towel and terrorize Annette by going back to the :eek:Akopia:eek: system.
